Guest Services
Launch Groups
Attending a new church can be really intimidating and we want to make sure that when guests come to our church, they feel welcomed and loved. The launch
group team will consist of 1 or 2 young adult couples and a couple of youth kids for each service each Sunday. When guests come to our church, they will be
brought to you so you can show them around and help them feel welcome. We would encourage you to invite them to sit with you during worship. Eventually, the
goal is for you to help them get acclimated and plugged in to one of our connect groups throughout the week when they are ready.
Tribe 252 Preschool
Our preschool department is growing and we are thrilled. Nursery and preschool classes not only provide a safe and loving place for little ones while their parents
attend worship service, but also help build the foundation for the children to one day accept and follow Jesus. Transitioning to two services will come with some
changes: we will need at least 16 volunteers each Sunday, 8 for first service and 8 for second service. We would love to have you as part of our team to share
Jesus’s love with our youngest children.
Tribe 252
As a Tribe 252 volunteer, you'll have the
rewarding opportunity to create a positive and nurturing environment for children to explore their faith, build lasting friendships, and develop a strong foundation
for their spiritual journey. Whether you're leading engaging lessons, organizing fun and educational activities, or simply offering a caring presence, your role is
crucial in fostering a sense of community and instilling important values in the hearts of our youngest members.
The lessons and activities are ready ahead of time, and I'll send them your way a few
days before we meet. Our schedule invites you to create an impact every Sunday during the time slots of 9:00-10:15 am and 10:30-11:45 am, as well as on
Wednesdays from 6:15-7:30 pm. Join us in shaping meaningful moments for the children we cherish!
Security Team
To serve on the security team, you must be 21 years of age or older. The main goal of our security team is to keep our people safe. We try to have a security
person at each door as an additional greeter and to be aware of who all are coming in every Sunday morning. If we were to ever have somebody come to our
church with intentions of deliberate interruption or even harm, we want to try and intercept them before they can get to our people. The vast majority of the time,
your role will simply be being aware of what is going on around you. However, the willingness to act if necessary is also important. We plan on having some
training to help you know what to expect and have consistency within our team.

International Missions
Local Missions
First Baptist has a heart for Seminole and Gaines County, that its people would know the love of Christ. Over the years we have been a part of many local mission projects, but over the past few years, we partnered with area churches in an annual Community Rehab Project. Many churches and businesses came alongside us to provide materials and manpower to see a number of homes improved, from landscaping to wheelchair ramp repair, to painting, and bathroom and kitchen remodels. We were amazed to see God move through his people to be a blessing to another, and look forward to many more projects in the years to come.
Community Rehab
Community Rehab Project is a Jesus-centered group that uses shoe leather faith to demonstrate the love of Christ through home improvements of qualified homeowners in Seminole, Texas.
Seminole Strong
Seminole Strong is a festival put on by Seminole area churches to benefit the families and students in the SISD community.
