Barrenness is an overwhelming sense of emptiness, a feeling you are irrelevant, and you really don't matter.
How do I walk by faith when the facts in my circumstances seem devoid of God's intervention?
On the other side of the mountain is your destiny and legacy.
1. Face the Facts
Faith cannot fix what you refuse to face.
It is what it is, but it's not all that it is.
2. Retrace God's Acts
There's more to the story than meets the eye.
God has an assignment for my life.
You decide who narrates your story.
When you see a problem. Heaven has a plan.
I backtrack in my story not to what is in the moment, but what will be in a biblical minute.
Some people say, “God will never ask me to do something I can’t do.” I have come to the place in my life that, if the assignment I sense God is giving me is something that I know I can handle, I know it is probably not from God. The kind of assignments God gives in the Bible are always God-sized. They are always beyond what people can do, because God demonstrates his nature, his strength, his provision, and his kindness to his people and to a watching world. This is the only way the world will come to know him.” Henry Blackaby
3. Embrace Your Impact
We view our problems considering God's Promises.
We are fully persuaded God is able to do what He promised.
I am only useful because God is faithful.
Even when God isn’t doing stuff suddenly, He’s doing stuff steadily. When God does stuff steadily, I can hold on to my hope, that suddenly, so quick, something happens. You’ll know the tears, the questions, the concerns, the costs of staying by stuff. What others will know is the glory of God is on you. It was by His hand. It was by His mercy. It is what it is, but it’s not all that it is.
