6 Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will live in the house of the Lord forever.
7 At that moment their eyes were opened, and they suddenly felt shame at their nakedness. So they sewed fig leaves together to cover themselves.
8 When the cool evening breezes were blowing, the man and his wife heard the Lord God walking about in the garden. So they hid from the Lord God among the trees. 9 Then the Lord God called to the man, “Where are you?”
6 Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will live in the house of the Lord forever.
1 Imitate God, therefore, in everything you do, because you are his dear children. 2 Live a life filled with love, following the example of Christ. He loved us and offered himself as a sacrifice for us, a pleasing aroma to God.
33 Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.
1 Then the Lord said to me, “Go and love your wife again, even though she commits adultery with another lover. This will illustrate that the Lord still loves Israel, even though the people have turned to other gods and love to worship them.” 2 So I bought her back for fifteen pieces of silver and five bushels of barley and a measure of wine. 3 Then I said to her, “You must live in my house for many days and stop your prostitution. During this time, you will not have sexual relations with anyone, not even with me.”
8 “Oh, how can I give you up, Israel? How can I let you go?How can I destroy you like Admahor demolish you like Zeboiim? My heart is torn within me, and my compassion overflows. 9 No, I will not unleash my fierce anger.I will not completely destroy Israel, for I am God and not a mere mortal.I am the Holy One living among you, and I will not come to destroy.
4 The Lord says,“Then I will heal you of your faithlessness; my love will know no bounds, for my anger will be gone forever.
19 I will make you my wife forever, showing you righteousness and justice, unfailing love and compassion. 20 I will be faithful to you and make you mine, and you will finally know me as the Lord.
