Worship Ministry
First Baptist Worship Ministry seeks to provide opportunities for people to encounter Jesus in a real and powerful way. We use a team of servants each week to make this happen; from musicians to vocalists, scripture readers to the announcement team. We have a place for you to plug in.

Guest Services
Do you believe that first impressions can make a huge impact? Join our Guest Services team – Visit with guests before and after Connect Groups and after the worship service in the Guest Services area to get to know them and welcome them to First Baptist.

Launch Group
Our Launch Group meets each Sunday morning at 9a in the fellowship hall for Bible study & discussion. For all ages. This class is also a volunteer resource for the various ministries of FBC. Each week, our ministry leaders let us know if there are any volunteer needs and we ask members of Launch Group to help fill those spots when needed.

Preschool
Nursery and preschool classes not only provide a safe and loving place for little ones while their parents attend worship service, but also help build the foundation for the children to one day accept and follow Jesus.

Security Team
The main goal of our security team is to keep our people safe. We try to have a security person at each door as an additional greeter and to be aware of who all are coming in every Sunday morning.
International Missions
First Baptist has a heart for missions, having engaged the Chorti people in Honduras over the years, sponsored teams to Kenya, Pakistan, Germany, Southeast Asia and beyond. Our Missions team are currently praying through partnering with a people group in Central America.
Local Missions
First Baptist has a heart for Seminole and Gaines County, that its people would know the love of Christ. Over the years we have been a part of many local mission projects, but over the past few years, we partnered with area churches in an annual Community Rehab Project; from landscaping to wheelchair ramp repair, to painting, and bathroom and kitchen remodels.
Community Rehab Project is a Jesus-centered group that uses shoe leather faith to demonstrate the love of Christ through home improvements of qualified homeowners in Seminole, Texas.
Seminole Strong is a festival put on by Seminole area churches to benefit the families and students in the SISD community.
