Garrison is a graduate of Seminole High School and received a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies at Lubbock Christian University. He’s currently pursuing a Master of Divinity at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. He’s 32 years old and married Patricia Cullender Jones on June 4, 2016. They have 2 daughters: Addie (age 3) and Erin (age 1).
Garrison interned at First Baptist Church of Seminole in 2010 and 2011 where he developed a love for missions in Honduras. He was a teacher and a coach at Canadian and Frenship Heritage Middle School before heading to the mission field in Honduras in 2017 and 2018 cementing his call to ministry. He is currently serving as a pastor of Youth and Worship at First Christian Church in Canadian and is responsible for a wide gamut of activities.
Garrison will be responsible for connect groups, missions, and discipleship activities (DNA) at FBC. He will also serve as the chief mission incubator for local community events. One emphasis will be engaging older high school students and young adults. Finally, Garrison will help develop and support ministerial and administrative staff. He will serve regularly on the preaching team at FBC.
